He is an united states citizen. He was voted in legally. So yes. If Romney had won, the answer is the same. Looking at all the rage this election secures in my mind why we are not ready for more than a two party presidential election system. CreasianDevaili

No. However, this does open the door to a Rand Paul 2016 campaign. Rand Paul is a good guy who has respect from all the necessary people - The conservatives, the Tea Party, and the Establishment. They all like him enough to get behind him. Unless he does something stupid within the next 4 years (which i think is unlikely), the Democrats are going to have to have areallygood candidate to beat him.

I'm glad he won if only because the expansion of the warfare state will be somewhat slowed compared to a Romney presidency. Him winning didn't make me happy, though, and the people it did tend to be pathetic plebs.Rhazakna
