Bah, I hate people who call themselves emo. It's a social group of people who pretend, yes, PRETEND to be depressed. They then take it the wrong way and dress up like goths, which is a totally different thing. In fact, most "emo" people you'll find are actually quite happy and/or content with life.

I know that I've said this before, but I sincerely doubt that you listen to emo. If you really did listen to "emo" music (Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, etc.), then you would know that you're an idiot for considering yourself to be an "emo".

Mine too. My life sucks: I'm 22 and still don't have a girlfriend, I have a crush on a woman I can't be with and I have very little money and no college degree. Still I don't get too emotional or depressed about it. Though I believe there is nothing wrong with being emotional: It's what makes you human.
i hate emo people today. they destroyed a genre of music. before it was just like alternative like stuff with a lot of otherinstruments and there songs had a lot of EMOtion in them weather it was over a girl or not. now it is just a bunch of nasty goth kids who pretend to be sad and listen to that scremo crap.

I agree most of the fans of emo/scene helped ruin music because 90 percent of them are fake, but i do not believe screamo is crap.
And you would know this, how, exactly? And, no, I'm not "emo." I don't act like everyone else and preach how original I am, despite so many other people doing it.

My love totallay sux because loike the transvesti I want to do won't take credit card so I tried to hang myself with the wire from my NES controller but it ripped.
