Are you going to church?

I used to go to church before because I was obliged to, but now I don't feel like going there.. I find it more peaceful by reading the Bible and by knowing His Words, and by knowing His Words it only spurred more questions within me..

like in exodus it says that no idols with God's likeness should be created or worshipped, then in Matthew it says that there are fakes who would go in churches and pretend to be holy by spreading the Word to lots of people, but one can only feel the solemnity if He does go to his room and when alone, profess his faith to God.

No & what for ? The last time I went to church I had to attend some marriage course to get married in a catholic church and had to listen to this absolute nutjob woman say all her religious values and how other people should try to be like her. When I gave my 2 cent that I thougth she was insane, and it was child abuse to force her children to act out parts of the bible instead of watching tv she went crazy. I went on to say that when she dies she's 7 feet under like everyone else and acting the way she does doesn't make her better then anyone else. Of course we weren't allowed to get married there but oh well.

Not ever since I was 18. I've been in a church a couple of times since then for funerals, graduation, and once for a "free dinner".

So far, I haven't regretted my decision to leave.

Never thought funerals could be so boring.

Not any more, I did after my dad died but it caused me to develop severe OCD rituals, I would walk only to the right, if I was walking in a circle I would move counter-clockwise. I would always do things in twos because it was an even number and the whole time I was doing it because I literally believed that god would take my soul away if I didn't.metroidprime55

i go to church for family weddings and family/friends funerals. the American side of my family is Lutheran.

Going to mosque however, i'll go most Friday (which like the Christian sunday).

growing up i went to Islamic weekend school when i lived in Texas, and i even went to an Evangelical Christian summer camp for two weeks in Vans, Texas, which was a lot of fun and good experience i thought. Even though i'm not Christian.

Then again i don't get a terrible allergic reaction upon being sorrounded by other religious symbols.

Yes i tend to go, mostly because is more of a family thing, i'm a catholic but i do not trust in the church that much however most of my family does and i do not like to have problems with them, so we usually go.

Weddings and funerals notwithstanding: no.

My parents had me go on Christmas and Easter, and a sunday or two. As well even younger I went to sunday school, but that all changed when I told them I didnt believe in the entity of religion.
