I'd only join the military if the country was invaded, In fact I think it would be the responsibilty of every on capable to join the military if our country was invaded. But until that happens I'm out.

No. I'm not american but I wouldn't join no matter what country I'd been born in, and I'm not a coward, I don't believe in war, it's stupid and rarely justifiable and there's very few governments I respect enough to support at all, let alone going to war for them. Politics suck...

Me too. I am joining to get into the Nuclear propulsion program. 121 college credits in two years that are good at almost every college/university in america for free plus they pay me? No brainer for me
I've seriously considered it, but that was mostly when my life was pretty crappy, now it's better and I don't my arm getting blown off to ruin it, and also I don't want to be a pawn of some government leader who is randomly in other countries poking into their business or making wars for stupid reasons.
If they want me to fight, then they have to wait till we get invaded. I will not kill a man on their soil just for my country, but if the bastards wants to try to take me out of my own home then I will kill him.
