Depends on my mood. But I can be very chatty. My biggest problem is that I'll go on a tangent and fail to remember the actual main thrust of my point without contemplation. If only I could go on tangents AND keep true to the course AND remember everything, I would be awesome.
No, because it doesn't get me or the other person anywhere. Same reason why i can't go to school or study: there is always a bunch of information completely irrelevant to my goals. I can't store that kind of information.
Really? I find small talk is just as pointless no matter who with. I guess I don't do small talk with people I like, if that's what you mean? for me we always end up talking about the weather..

Not really unless if it's a friend and we just start rambling on about random things. Small talk over the phone or with someone I don't know that well always has awkward silence within about 20 seconds. >_>

Well if I don't like the person then I'd just be like: "Yeah" to everything they say. If it's with someone I like I usually skip the small talk anyway though. I prefer to have in-depth conversations.
I have been sitting here for about five minutes thinking it over. I have come up with this. I am HORRIBLE at small talk. Like extremely horrible. Just so horrible.

Depends on the person. With some people I can keep it up for a while before I run out of things to say but some people are just a blank piece of paper and everything I say just gets crumpled up.

What? Of course you can store it. We will never be able to fill up our brain.
When I have to do small talk without objective, I just put on a bored tone of voice and and speak in a really tired way. I also talk about things that aren't interesting at all. There's a certain way I talk to friends that is very different from how I talk to non-friends.
