Just curious really, are you happy/content with the job you're currently doing? Do you still look for other work?
Also, tell us what you do for a living. I work in a call centre for an power company.

I write Android and iOS applications and websites. The work is alright. I don't like where I work really in that windowless conference room-turned-cubicle farm.cd_romCan't you work from your house?
I'm a full-time student, but I work part-time at Designer Shoe Warehouse. It's easy. Boring, but easy. The discount is nice too. However, the hours SUCK. So I'm looking for another job for during summer school.
I work in a public library. I love my job to bits, but the future of libraries is an uncertain thing, consequently I do keep an eye out for opportunities that'd be better in that regard.
I work as a merchandiser at Shoppers Drug Mart. Is that in America? Basically, it's Walmart, but smaller, and with a pharmacy and cosmetics department. And it's aimed towards older women.
It's alright. I mean, I could hate it, but then i realize I could be working as a quarry miner or in construction or hard manual labour. So, it's alright. it's not easy but it's a job.
The discount kicks too :D 30% off everything.
If I found a better job I'd take it though, while only working at shoppers for like 4 or 5 hours a week as to keep my discount :D
I'm a "teacher." I love interacting with the kids and being in the classroom, but I'm not happy with what I'm teaching. I'm basically filling in for a Computer teacher, and I have no real knowledge of programming and other computer-related stuff, so it's kind of lame. I might be hired full-time next year as something I want to teach though, so I'm keeping my hopes up.
I just started about a week and half ago. Get paid 8 an hour working at a car dealership ( Schepel) handling the cars like washing them and prepping them. Not bad really. Although working from 8pm til 5 am on Saturdays can get tiring, time goes by very slow. But its my first job and i like the pay.
AHHH
i'm happy
just wish i got paid more other then what i am other then that but who dosen't right?
easy not hard job, great co workers, great boss, great benefits, ect boss is cool you really don't run into cool ass bosses who you can joke off with, who is down to earth, dosn't think they are over you, never tries beat around the bush and tell you how it is, fights for every job. Not kidding if he wanted to he let half the people in the department and get the same work done... thats how easy it is.
i'm a cook/inventory guy at a hospital.
been loving my job last nov because i don't think i havn't got a pay check without 20-30 hrs in overtime...
If you know how to operate office then you've already surpassed the majority of my IT teachersI'm basically filling in for a Computer teacher, and I have no real knowledge of programming and other computer-related stuff, so it's kind of lame.

I run the front end of a grocery store and I hate it. I've lost faith in humanity so many times over the past year.
I'm a teacher assistant at a high school, and I love it. My co-workers are very nice, and the students don't do or say anything bad to me. They are a little rowdy, but they're cool with me. As for my responsibilities, it's pretty easy: help students individually with basic math and Social Studies, make copies, run errands, etc. When I don't have anything to do, I just surf the net until I get some orders; it sucks that video game sites like GameSpot are blocked at work though.
But this school year is most likely my last year with them. I just finished the university and might look for work somewhere else, unless a bookkeeping position opens up there.
Work at a game shop, it's alright but I'm starting to get sick of it..all anyone ever talks about is video games..michael_1234576What did you expect? :P I know what you mean though, personally I'd never work in a video-game store, the idea of being surrounded by games all day would be too much and I'd end up not wanting to play any at home.
yes i'm happy with my job, they are fair with my hours, i'm satisfied with my pay, my managers/coworkers are nice. in fact, i think they hold me in too high of a regard :P cause of what happened. long story short, because of me, 2 customers filled out incident reports because the cart pushing machine (i work at target) nearly ran them both over, and at least 1 of them ended up on the floor. but after it was all over, some of the people felt bad for ME, i really don't know why.

omg totally know how you feel. I work in a supermarket ( 16 years old ) and I hate it. I'm looking for a new job at the moment. I've applied for a job at the local video store because working at supermarkets is the absolute worst job ever !!!I run the front end of a grocery store and I hate it. I've lost faith in humanity so many times over the past year.

Really, I kinda envy you. I've always wanted to work in a game shop. Seems like fun! :)
I'm a gambler. I earn money through bets and playing cards. Sometimes I'd work on few editorials. Still studying though and hope to land a decent job someday. :)
I love my job. The pay is pretty good and, considering the economic climate we are in, my job is relatively secure. The commute isn't bad either (which is big for me because I HATE sitting in traffic). I work for a Construction Manager that deals primarily with Water Treatment Plants. A good mix of crunching numbers and dealing with people.....not to mention big, giant pieces of equipment.
