I know how that is, my and my husband just had our 1st, he's 5 months old and he always seems to need to be involved with everything we do.
I've been married for a year and a half, but we've been together since we were 20.
Since she's pregnant I can't really do much with her, but I was going to cook her her favorite meal and then take her to go see some live music, since she really loves it. And I'm going to buy her both yellow and red roses. Red because it's valentine's day, and yellow because those are her favorite.
I just got out of a relationship of a year and a half... Before her my previous ex was 3.5 years. Sometimes I feel like true love can never exist equally between 2 people...
tofu pad thaiIn a relationship but not married or engaged. We're probably going to sit and watch movies all day, I have no idea what food I should cook/order because she's a vegetarian.

I'm in a long-term relationship with my girlfriend. We have been together for just over 10 months now and have been living together for just over 2. There are no marriage plans for anywhere in the near future.
Our plans for valentine's day involve very little. Most likely dinner at home and a night in bed.
Been with my fella for about 6.5 years; we generally aren't big on Valentine's Day' birthdays and anniversary are our big occasions. As I've said to him, "You show me you love me every single day" :oops:xaosomy so mushy ugh
[QUOTE="UltimoIce"]Smiley face? Interesting... elaborate or no?I have a girlfriend of 5 years right now. Not sure how much longer it is lasting, or even if it will last until the 15th! :)

Just was an ironic joke. It has been on the downhill for some time now. We both know that it is going into a ditch, but neither one of us has had the gull to end it yet. We are both people that like to avoid stress due to having high amounts of it in our careers (I am a programmer, she is a paralegal).
So, every weekend is more awkwardness. Hopefully it will be done soon...I just need to bite the bullet and end it.

Pretty much. You guys really are not doing each other a favor by staying in a relationship you consider dead. End it amicably, just be friends.yeah, really. stringing it along is painI just need to bite the bullet and end it.

When you are with someone so long, even when things are dead, you still love them. Plus, all the stress of splitting assets, moving out. Ugh, there goes a week. But yes, I suppose it must be done.

At least you won the gift exchange... :PYes, I am. Dated for 7 1/2 years, been married 1 1/2 years. We will be eating macaroni and cheese seasoned with my tears, silently. We will then sit on two different couches in the living room and watch reruns of Seinfeld. At 9 PM, we shall retire. At 9:30 PM, her crying shall cease and we shall fall asleep.FragStainsum. what? lol
