I think I'm way too sensitive. Today, I didn't get how to put together a circuit on a solderless board and she said "Jillian, your such a stupid girl!". I was really hurt by that because she's my friend and that "stupid girl" part really got to me. :( I'm just curious, is anyone else offended easily like I am?

i used to be but i'm not that much anymore, i just ignore anything anybody says that i don't know though quite oftern that includes compliments aswell as insults
Not really. The only thing I can get offended about quickly is religion. Most of the time if someone offends me, I'll retort with a clever comeback that leaves them dumbfounded.
Not at all. Only thing that truly offends me is if people talk crap about me behind my back and giving me an undeserved bad reputation. If I've messed up then ok I had it coming, but if people make things up that's really bad.
Nope, only thing that ever gets to me is being called stupid I guess. Religion, race, gender etc. are all fair game as long as it's done properly. ie South Park
It depends on who, why, their intentions, and ultimately how many are backing him up.
Generally I see it as a joke. When my ex ICT teacher in college noticed I had a "middle age spread" he then pointed it out to everyone while I was at the printer putting paper in. I then went to my place and came back to collect my printed work and he said "and manboobs as well" I just had to accept I had been shredded by a Yorkshireman while people laughed.
Yes I am a bit over weight and have no muscle tone but a middle age spread and man boobs? It ain't that bad.
It was funny I admit. So no, but if people get too personal frequently it pisses me off a little, especially if they are friends.
It usually takes a lot to really offend me. I don't really care what other people have to say about me...especially if they don't even know me. The only time that negative comments really bother me is if someone I know and like says them to me.

im not that sensitive at all. I expect others not to be either, and if they are then they will be trampled upon.
Nope i am very rarley offended. I know a guy who is offended no matter what you say even mention a politically incorrect term about something he has no concern with and he goes of in a rant then huff, leads to fun drunking mind games :D
i dislike when people joke about something but are offended when someone else does it. if your deeply offended then you would not joke about it yourself it is only you trying to cuase conflict.
then there is those that defend something that has no concern of them. and act deeply offended even thoe they have no idea why they are offended
