Specifically I'm proud of being from the Bay Area, but not really as a citizen as the state as a whole. California is just stereotyped all the time as this place full of palm trees, celebrities, warm weather, and surfers. It's stupid. camreeno360
That's more L.A. area than Bay Area, that's for sure. 8)

But it's too hot over there... and I DIDN'T mean that literally! :P
With the Rockies as hot as they are right now, you're DAMN right!JustPlainLucas
I like my Rockies cold and full of snow, just like I can see out me backyard. However, if the Rockies baseball team can be as cold and lethal as snow and ice, they will make Boston freeze up and give up. Only problem is that B-town is used to the same weather. But anyway, Go Rockies!!!!!
[QUOTE="3eyedrazorback"]You mean am I proud of my state creating a president that committed adultry in office? No. I hate you Bill Clinton. Thanks for giving us a horrible name.Runningflame570
Whatever man, Bill Clinton has nothing on Bush..at least Clinton's policies were generally sound.
Plus he brought back National Debt to a 0 instead of negative (like everyone else). But, he lied in office, and had "sexual relations with that woman" in that very office.
Proud Washingtonian? Not I. 90% of the people think that Seattle is the state capital. It's mostly rural towns with a few big cities, and I'd rather not live in either. There are way too many protestors where I live. I have no problem with protesting, but they protest EVERYTHING. Like the Texan I guess I'm embarassed by the political climate. It's not so much that all Washingtonians feel either extreme, but that is what is projected.
I don't drink coffee. I've never even had one sip. I do like some grunge, but I spent most of my life in Aberdeen and Kurt Cobain is a local legend. Aberdeen's city-limit sign says, "Come as you are". Thats kinda cool I guess.
Don't ask me. I just live here.

I get ticked when I tell people that my family lives in Washington and they say "Oh, I bet you've been to the White House a lot".

Right! I'd have said DC if I meant DC, stupid! My friend has a bumpersticker that says that.
I'm kinda meh on Mass even though it's a great place for a sports fan these past few years. After going to college in Maine though I am in love with the place...Fascinating Maritime history. Sadly, my girlfriend refuses to live out in the boonies...oh well...
Sweet topic, btw.
I'm not proud to be English. It's a good place to live, but why should I be proud?SolidSnake35
Well, for starters, you're not French. :P
