i'm kind of proud to be Hmong, but I'm a total disgrace when it comes to culture and tradition. I don't even know how to speak our native language. Now that's just sad.
And it gets worse: we allow Polygamy, but since this is America...
I'm proud of both my nationality and my ethnicity.
I'm from America and I love it here, so yes, I'm very proud of that.
My ethnic background includes Irish, Norwegian, Scottish, and English. I'm really into my Irish side (well, I'm over half), but I also really like the Norwegian and Scottish in me as well. The English...well, let's just say that I could do without it. :)
i dont know. I am german and irish. I like being irish, but hate being german. I have a few jewish friends and fell bad about being germantehfireballer
Well do they have a problem with you being German? If they do then I dont think they are good friends. Cheer up Germans had so many nice discoveries and inventions.
I am Scottish, Irish, English, French, and like 1% Native American. I am pretty much proud of all of my bloodline, especially my Native American ancestry (like my great, great, great grandfathers wife or something) because it is just so awesome seeing as how they were the "original" Americans you know.
If anything I am least proud of my Scottish/Irish background. The entire culture and history is pretty un-interesting in IMO, and nothing about the two nations is appealing to me at all.
Above all however, I am proud to be a American, not matter what blood I have in me.
Patriotism ... is a superstition artificially created and maintained through a network of lies and falsehoods; a superstition that robs man of his self-respect and dignity, and increases his arrogance and conceit.
I'm very interested in my heritage ... (English/Irish) not proud at all .....

OMG this, someone who thinks like me!
Yeah I am a proud Maori and a proud americanDasacant
Holy what the christ, a Maori American?! *slaps self*
Are you an actual Maori? Like a Maori who looks like a Maori and understands the culture, or one of the many white boys who pretend to be Maori to get the sweet government benefits?
Personally, I once cared about my heritage but not so much anymore. It holds nothing relevant or practical to myself. My family kinda has a few issues with our main branch of our family anyway. Something about inheritance and the fact that my grandfather wasn't a failure at life like all his siblings and parents.
My family is the product of Irish potato farmers breeding with a bunch of Germans and English, and a couple of French. Apparently I had an ancestor who was an English nobleman who moved to America after having an illigitimate child with someonerather, and found a vien of some mineral or another and got rich. He then proceeded to spend all the money.
Oh and a great great uncle of mine committed suicide after his shipment of potatoes was lost at sea in a shipwreck. I know. It sounds to stupid to be true, but my grandfather said he dug it up.
Oh and the greatest and most legendary exploit of my entire family. My great-grandfather, Irish to the core, died in a bar room brawl on the day the Wall Street markets collapsed and onset the great depression leaving a widow and 3 children to fend for themselves. How much more Irish could you POSSIBLY get than that, do tell, I'd like to know.

Very witty  ... well done little fellow
Irish = lousy drunks, leaves wife and kids, goes out fighting .......
Neither true nor funny
My Icelandic heritage goes way back.... Actually, I'm directly related to the early settlers (as most Icelandic people are)
But I'm not too proud, I don't like nationalism. It makes the nation closer, but pisses on change, foreigners and the rest of the world. I think Iceland is a beautiful place, but not more than the avarage tourist.
