Anyone here live on the Eastern Coast? I live in Richmond VA and we usually don't get much unlike the Carolinas lol.. What do u guys to do during hurricane season? Has your power ever gone out? Do u have a generator? what did u do to pass time if your power did go out?
Yea, I live in NY and it has been almost 90 years since the LI Express that hit here. And forcasters predict that NY gets hit by a Hurricane every 90 years or so, so I am hoping for a quiet season. Although, we are supposed to be affected by TS Barry later next week. That is going to be a pain in the ass because it is going to be soupy and rainy weather for a while. We have had to use the AC for the past several days already.
I live in Tennessee, but me and my parents are supposed to go to Disneyworld from June 14th to June 23rd. I hope there's no hurricanes then. :( I've been waiting a long time to go there...
You guys have my condolences, along with all the towns and cities along the Eastern and Gulf Coast. I read that experts are forecasting at least 7 major Hurricanes to form this season :(

Yea, the only thing you guys have to prepare for is near perfect weather pretty much everyday. I was in San Diego one time in early Spring and the weather was absolutely perfect and a nice crisp, cool air in the evening. I kind of wish I could live there, if I didn't already live in NY.

im not really ready but i usually go to a center when a hurrricane does come. when the powers went out due to Katrina (I live in S. Florida) all i did was walk around, listent to 610 WIOD and I saw the President helicopter...lol
I live in Savannah, G.A. a teacher once told me that we had a very unlikly chance of getting hit back when hurricanes scared the crap out of me. But maybe I should check to see if she was right.
Well to start I live in Orlando. I am being hit by Tropical Storm Barry as I type this. Not bad yet, but it will be later. I went through 4 hurricanes 3 years ago a couple in 05 and i cant remember if there were any last year. Yes, my power did go out and I slept to pass time.

ive been to florida before.. your sun burns like hell.. it felt like i had bleach all over me and i was standing in an oven becaus eat disneyworld there is a lot of tar on the ground which allows the sun to slowly bake you even more. How can u possibly sleep with no A/C
