what I mean by this is like do you act the same online like you would in real life?

i don't change myself online from when i'm offline in real time. It's hard to get a read on someone when they are online however, my personality doesn't come through by typing. But i'm the same person, no reason to change. I'm open minded, i say what i want when i want, sarcastic and kinda a **** sometimes.

the "action" as it is online is confined to text. so what you're really asking is, do i speak the same as i type.

to that i'd answer no, because i speak with a voice that carries inflection and i have a face and a body, and with simple text none of these things are captured. words are only tools. your friends may see your words as meaningful and alive only because he or she knows your face.

try speaking to someone for the first time with your face erased and your body hidden, with your only trust in representatives of meaning.

If you act like your words say you do on my computer screen, i'd probably stay away from you. i'd stay away from myself!

it's pretty hard setting your personality, your soul, your life to words with no voice. so of course i'm not the same person i say i am! i try to tell the truth, but my words will only draw lines; one can only imagine what the colors may be.
