No, but for my dad it was his second marriage. They had a kid, my half brother who is approaching 30 and is awesome. I met his ex wife when I was still in middle school (which was during my half brother's wedding). She was really nice and they (my dad and his ex wife) have no hard feelings, though my mom wasn't too comfortable with the situation.
Yes, they divorced when I was 12. They are still in good terms though, I'd actually say they have a better realtionship now than when they were married.
