Looks like too many Paraguayan and Bolivian immigrants coming over.
So you are OK with it?

I dont know all the info, but allowing immigrants with criminal records when you have problems with them committing more crimes should be taken seriously. Even US has strict polices on who they let come over.
@WhiteKnight77:
Who wouldn't be ok with tightening immigration laws for criminals?
Now think about this for a minute. We have laws for the deportation of illegal immigrants who have committed crimes, yet we have cities that do not want to help get them deported. We recently had a bunch of mayors state that they will not follow federal laws, laws no different than Argentina just passed, yet no one apparently has a problem with them doing such though they have a problem with the US doing such. Why?
@WhiteKnight77: Cause theyre different? America has very strict laws about allowing criminals to come to America. Your gonna have to bring evidence to state your case, otherwise your just wasting time.

See above.
@WhiteKnight77: What about it? America still has very strict polices on who we let come over.
What about the policies to deport illegals who have committed crimes that are not being enforced in certain cities?
I question the competence of the employees at the airport who interpret the law however and decide who comes in and out the country.
Imagine being a resident in Argentina and not be allowed back in the country after leaving for vacation over a minor marijuana possession charge years ago. Argentina's equivalent to homeland security or TSA don't care if the offense was dismissed, this person is a criminal.
@WhiteKnight77: What crime? What case?
Do you mean to tell me you have not heard of this case? This made national news. Suspect in killing of San Francisco woman had been deported five times and was a convicted felon and was released even though ICE had told SF that they wanted him held and they released him anyway. I wonder what Nancy Pelosi has to say to that family since it was from her city?

Adios everyone, it's been real. I came to OT because system wars is unbearable...well...OT has become similarly unbearable. I'll stick with the other forum on which I post.

Why are you blaming me for something that I have no idea of what you are referring to? What issue are you having that has you blaming me for you leaving?

Let the coward go if he can't handle a difference of an opinion then good riddance. People debate and things can get heated but you stick with it.

I guess that he cannot handle the facts. :shrug: It is the "other countries can enact laws and enforce them, but the US can't enforce their own" syndrome that portion of the US population has.

There was no reason to detain him, he served his time. Police had to let him go. What else you got? Surely you got something better then that?

ICE wanted him to deport him a 6th time before the killing and as Argentine law that was just enacted, as well as similar to US laws, and people agree with, he should have been deported.
@WhiteKnight77: Where does it state that? ICE didnt say they wanted to deport him. They just wanted to notify someone that he was being released.

Somebody destroys an idea going on and you have a meltdown and leave the forums?
LOL bye.

Learn to read:
The man accused of firing the deadly shot -- 45-year-old Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez -- is an undocumented immigrant, a repeat felon who has been deported five times to Mexico, according to immigration officials.
It would have been six, a federal law enforcement source told CNN, except authorities in San Francisco wanted him on a drug-related warrant.
So U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which had Lopez-Sanchez in its custody in March after his release from federal prison, turned him over to San Francisco deputies. ICE said they requested an immigration detainer, asking that the agency be notified before Lopez-Sanchez was released.
ICE said it turned Lopez-Sanchez over to San Francisco authorities on March 26 for an outstanding drug warrant. The agency requested an immigration detainer, but Horne said San Francisco officials believe that violates Fourth Amendment rights against unreasonable searches and seizures.
This man was in a federal prison serving for felony reentry into the US. The Feds honored SFs drug warrant, but did not honor the feds request to hold him.
@WhiteKnight77: What about it? That has nothing to do with them wanting deporting him. They just wanted to notify someone that they were releasing him. They had no reason to hold him, they had to let him go.

The first 5 words, that are emboldened, in the second paragraph states just exactly that, a 6th time.
@WhiteKnight77: Deport him for what? Your not making sense mate. The statement says they had nothing to hold him on and had to let him go. He had time served.

Again, he is a convicted criminal and the US, just like Argentina now, has laws about criminal immigrants. Nazis who lied about their crimes during WWII were deported back to Germany, even at an advanced age, many, many, many years after the war was over. This is no different in that he should have been deported and SF did not honor such. The detainer is an immigration hold and the SFSD should have held him though they didn't. Again, there are laws that stated illegal immigrants are to be deported as well as criminal foreigners. In this case, the guy was both and SF let him walk away to commit yet another felony.
If you cannot understand that, I cannot help you.
@WhiteKnight77: Your still not making sense mate. He served his time, they had to let him go cause they couldnt charge him with anything. ICE was just wanting to let someone know they were letting him go. Its called following the law.
Your reading comprehension skills need work. I will put it like this. I hope the feds decide to take money from SF for being a sanctuary city as well as disregard any warrants they have for illegal immigrants in federal custody and the feds just go ahead and deport them the way they should.
