I'm pretty sure that at 60 metres, grenade shrapnel's practically nonexistent. Most modern day grenades have lethality ranges about a quarter that distance.

Why are you guys believing the hype? It's just a bunch of NASA nerds using scare tactics so they can get more money to buy bigger telescopes. The Earth is safe.... at least for our lifetime.

Actually, the chances of youbeing struck by lightning is 1 in576,000, and that happens everyday. 1 in 3000 is actually pretty scary odds. By that time though, ill be in my 60's and wont care much...
