Astrology debate part 2: videos

Hey people I made a thread earlier about astrology. I found two videos on Youtube, one is against astrology and one is for, see what you think.

Your post implies that because there are 2 possibilities that both are equally likely and deserve equal time.

This is not the case.

One is based on science and fact and the other on falsities.

The video for astrology was quite boring. We know that astrology has been around for thousands of years. We also know that the people who lived thousands of years ago-and who presumably invented astrology-had little understanding of the way the world really worked. They had little understanding of medicine, geology, astronomy, chemistry, agriculture, physics, and biology.

Astrology was our first to dip into the astronomy, in a pseudo way though. There is ABSOLUTELY no proof that astrology is true at all. It is the way our brain is wired why some think astrology is true: The Forer Effect: vague and general personality descriptions that people think are uniquely applicable to themselves without realizing that the same description could be applied to just about anyone, and Confirmation Bias: which means that people tend to notice and give greater importance what confirms something, rather than what contradicts it.

Astrology is not real.
