Duh, follow the road rules, reactions count.

Obviously. I smoke hyundai accents and ford focuses all day.
The trick is to peep over the opposite light until is yellow.
I hate it when Im behind someone who accelerate so slowly back to the speed limit. It would take them 15-20 seconds while it I will do it in half that time.
Generally I just go without any concern to someone next to me who think hitting the gas at the floor every time is the way to do it.
That's what I do in my father's dodge ram(12mpg).No I don't. I get up to speed as slow as possible to get maximum mileage.

That's what I do in my father's dodge ram(12mpg).I get a lot better than that. 20-21 all city is what I average.[QUOTE="Fightingfan"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]

My car is weird ~20mpg city and 30mpg highway the disparity is bit much and I usually drive city.

You probably use cruise control, and don't have an overdrive feature to lower your RPMs. You can also do silly things to say gas in the city, coast, accelerate slower, light foot, can't really do that when you're 80+ because lets me honest no one goes 70 on the high way :PThat's what I do in my father's dodge ram(12mpg).I get a lot better than that. 20-21 all city is what I average. Never driven the truck on the highway for more then 5 mintues, personally I couldn't afford to drive the truck everyday. It's decent, but I'm kinda spoiled with my 28 city 35 highway, in my civic.[QUOTE="Fightingfan"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]

*Dodge Ram is Americans largest gas guzzler(automatic).
Most of the time I don't. But there's a hill near my house at home, with a stop light on top, and 100 feet after the stoplight the road narrows from 2 lanes to one. Basically, its always a race to be first when the lanes merge. I drive a manual, and I'm very good at starting on a hill.

I usually begin by making eye contact with the car next to me, followed by a few revs of the engine, followed by pushing the gas to the floor and releasing NOS.Please Log In to post.
