When I'm trying to get over a lane I do. Otherwise, no.

Obviously. I smoke hyundai accents and ford focuses all day.

The trick is to peep over the opposite light until is yellow.

No I don't. I get up to speed as slow as possible to get maximum mileage.

I hate it when Im behind someone who accelerate so slowly back to the speed limit. It would take them 15-20 seconds while it I will do it in half that time.

Generally I just go without any concern to someone next to me who think hitting the gas at the floor every time is the way to do it.

My car is weird ~20mpg city and 30mpg highway the disparity is bit much and I usually drive city.

That's what it says the truck gets on paper, but given my driving tricks, I probably get the same. I don't let the RPMs get high.

All the time. If I beat them I'm better than them. They don't know it, but I am.

You probably use cruise control, and don't have an overdrive feature to lower your RPMs. You can also do silly things to say gas in the city, coast, accelerate slower, light foot, can't really do that when you're 80+ because lets me honest no one goes 70 on the high way :P

Yes and when I beat them, at the next stop light their wives or girlfriends usually get out of their car and make love to me for winning.

Never driven the truck on the highway for more then 5 mintues, personally I couldn't afford to drive the truck everyday. It's decent, but I'm kinda spoiled with my 28 city 35 highway, in my civic.

*Dodge Ram is Americans largest gas guzzler(automatic).

The only time I floor it at a red light is when a car in front of me drives extra slow and i get a chance to get in another lane so i try to speed to make up the time i wasted behind a slow car

Lol, well, depends where I am. If I'm at our rural little road that for some reason has a stoplight (in a town of about 10 people cmon now), I've been known to race a car or two :P normally the ones with all tricked out with their performance exhaust that don't realize that suspension counts more than top speed in the area I live lol. Jeep FTW!!

Most of the time I don't. But there's a hill near my house at home, with a stop light on top, and 100 feet after the stoplight the road narrows from 2 lanes to one. Basically, its always a race to be first when the lanes merge. I drive a manual, and I'm very good at starting on a hill.

I usually begin by making eye contact with the car next to me, followed by a few revs of the engine, followed by pushing the gas to the floor and releasing NOS.

Everytime I see some guy driving one of those huge asinine trucks with loud obnoxious straight pipes and over sized tires with some stupid bumper sticker making allusions to how masculine they are, I always think to myself "that boy has got a little d!ck"

if I'm in the lead then yes, I won't accelerate all crazy like but I get up to speed quickly, that's the responsible thing to do, especially in short light turn lanes, I absolutely hate it when I'm like the 5th vehicle back and I can count to 10 before the lead car gets through the intersection, or I miss the light because some douchebag at the front of the line was picking their nose and staring into the sky before noticing the light was green, if I'm second car or third car back I don't hesitate to use the horn if the light changes to green and they don't move or I can tell they're distracted like they're texting or digging through stuff in the car
