Will my car insurance go up if I was at-fault, had an accident, but i did not receive a ticket/traffic violation?

If it was submitted to your insurance, yes. If your insurance has to pay anything out cause you did something, your premium goes up.

it depends. Some give you a one accident buffer if it's your fault. it also depends on what you did and how much it's going to cost them.

If you were at fault and this accident was reported to your auto-insurer, then yes, your premium will go up unless you have an active buffer in place where they'll let you go if it's your first accident in X amount of time.

Ouch, your insurance is going to go through the roof after that one.

Lol, even if it's not your fault, your insurance can still go up.

Depends a lot on fine print and the terms of your insurance coverage. Unfortunately given how old you are, how long you've had a license... and the fact that you were at fault, it's almost a given that you're going to get a rate increase. It's almost the worst possible scenario, sorry to say.

Yeah, sounds like it's going to jump a bit. Even if you didn't get a ticket, your insurance company will be paying for the repairs of the other vehicle, so it's not like you can get out of admitting fault with them.

Hahah wow. Are you registered under their insurance? If not.....that's super illegal. If you are, expect your parents to make you pony up.

well idk it's their policy i'm sure i'm under it or whatever. They said to not worry about it and that's why they work. They said they're just glad I'm okay and to treat it like a learning experience.
