Attention Everyone! A New Music Genre Has Formed! Happy Music meets Angry Music?

-My friend showed me this video...and the music is something new....well to me, it is. Sounds like a mix of happy blink182esque punk music and metal xD It sounds so cheerful yet metal at the same time. It's weird.It's so..happy....yet so....metal?! What do you guys think of this new genre?

-And I LOL'ed at the random, unexpected slipknot voice at the middle of the video. Here's the vid.

This is hardcore/metalcore. It's been around for about 13 years.

Just listened to it, and as a fan of The Devil Wears Prada, Iwrestledabearonce, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Asking Alexandria, even I found it rather bad.. I don't like Blink 182 though. At all.

Just listened to it, and as a fan of The Devil Wears Prada, Iwrestledabearonce, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Asking Alexandria, even I found it rather bad.. I don't like Blink 182 though. At all.

Its just metal and punk rock.

Basically metalcore without the screamo vocals.

your only a lvl 3. you'll soon realize that no one can agree on a "Perfect" music genre. Fortunately if you hate justin beiber you are considered ok.

I listened up until the vocals started. Godawful.
