Andrew Basiago is attempting to expose a government coverup involving time travel experiments. Basiago claims that he was selected as a 7-year-old in 1969 along with a number of other people to take part in 'Project Pegasus', a secret Cold-War project in which participants were said to have been 'jumped' through time to a number of destinations. "I have the whole story, I have hundreds of facts," he says. "I can tell you what personnel were at what locations where and which travel device was being used." Basiago claims that he visited the Ford Theatre on the day President Lincoln was shot, met President Obama when he was still a child and physically attended the Gettysburg Address. "A tunnel was opening up in time-space just like a soap bubble being blown by a child," he says. "And when that bubble closed, we were repositioned elsewhere in time-space on the face of the Earth." Very skeptical. There is too my questions in my mind the news article didnt ask. Why is he telling people this? If time travel is real, hes going to be another missing person case, a Looper is going to dumb his body 40 years in the future and nobody would ever know.
Objection! If that guy has travelled back in time why didn' t he come to find me? I' m supposed to be really special so I would expect to be involved in this!
Time travel is entirely possible in physics, but you could only go forwards, not back. This guy wants attention.
