Avatars/Banners have been fixed

We can now have avatars and banners. Now we just need to be able to have graphics in sigs again.

Nothing still works for me. Clicking on the buttons still has no effect on anything.

Helped me this morning.

Works for me. Hopefully everyone will be able to change their images again soon, most people still look... the same.

The new site isn't bbcode. They have us upload images for some reason.

can now insert images too, without having to use Elks console code thingy.

Now we just need an option to delete images we've uploaded. It took me many efforts to get my first attempts up, ended up with more than a dozen images I want to delete. Hope it becomes an option.

Really? I just changed it the regular way using Firefox. :)

I have my 'old face' back :P

I have tried using the buttons and clicking on the avatar pic and neither work in either Opera or IE. Trying the fix by Elk does not work either in either browser and I am not installing more browsers to use something that should have been working from the get go. GS knew full well that people were complaining about sigs and avatars since the new site design was first mentioned. The fact that it is broken to this extent still shows that they should have had more people testing it, with different browsers other than Chrome or Firefox.

HTML code is supposed to be standardized, but when they start adding all this script crap into it, they cannot get it right. This was evident with the old forums due to all the glitches that plagued the forums from time to time and up to and including the last couple of days of it's existence. There is a rule called KISS. GS coders should keep to it or get software that is expressly made for forums and is more user friendly that what they had in the past or have now.

Finally fixed..

Meh... I guess I didn't notice because I never used the feature before. I'm sure I've seen it but it was more like background noise.

It was not here up until the last half hour or so.

I meant I've seen it on the old site.

I like that fade effect on the quote pyramid.

Yeah, that is a good feature and notice that more than 3 people can be quoted without the quotes getting all screwed up.

Can we remove an image from our sigs? It now works to insert but I can't remove the test image I put in my sig earlier. I can only add another image. No way to remove completely?

Finally I have an identity again.

Spent the last few days playing GTAV, so don't really know any different...

Great news, we're just waiting on the appearance of sigs now :P

One problem solved, a dozen more awaiting. :P

So signatures are STILL down? :(

I'll wait for the little bugs to be fixed.
