I recently got an Avermedia Game Capture HD, and I've been having some problems getting it to work. I'm pretty sure I have it set up properly.

Here's a video showing my problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjfEHRnME8w

If anyone has any idea what I'm doing wrong, it'd really help.

(Also, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section, I couldn't seem to find a technical problems catagorey)

There could be many things wrong. Maybe your inputs on the TV is the problem. You'd have to hook up different units to those inputs to make sure it's not the TV that is going crazy. Also I have this card that I record Xbox/PS3 footage via HDMI cables (1 going 2 my PC & 1 going 2 my monitor using this HDMI splitter). I'm assuming though by the video you're using a RCA recorder in which case I can't be of much help in that department.

I plugged in hte 360 into the tv using the green/red/blue cables and it showed up perfectly fine. So I guess that means it's not the TV.

i have had mine for about six months as of 5/11/13, i went to turn it on last night and it didn't work, i had to reset and then i got it working, but for only a minuet or two. It works fine for that amount of time before it shut off again. I have to reset all over again?! I know as a fact that all of my connection are hooked up right. I don't know what is wrong, it could be the device it self, I have tried everything please help!

Try other things like swapping cables and TVs.
