So you're watching a horror film or TV show and you just happen to dose off while it's still on. Suddenly, either you hear a scream or you just happen to wake up at the wrong time and the killer, ghost, etc is on the screen when you open your eyes, looking frightening, scaring the heck out of you. Has this ever happened to you?

It happened to me once. I was watching the old black and white version of House On Haunted Hill for the first time. Fell asleep, heard a scream, opened my eyes and there was that creepy looking old lady with that crazy look on her face. Seemed like the old lady didn't look as terrifying when I saw the scene again for the second time.

I watched House on Haunted Hill (The '99 version) and I didn't sleep for days afterwards. Being six at the time I don't know what business I had watching it in the first place.

I never watch scary things if I'm tired and alone. I put my tv on a sleep timer on a kiddie channel like teletoon or treehouse and fall asleep to that. I did end up dozing off while watching a scary movie with my boyfriend once, and once I start watching something like that, it creeps into my dreams. He touched my arm while I was still half asleep and I almost launched myself off the bed I was so startled, I was freaking out because I thought whatever the scary thing in the movie was was touching me.

Has not happened to me since I am not a horror fanatic.

Btw, how in the world did you achieve such a high level? I have nearly 5 times as many posts as you, and I am half your level...

I get more scared reading a good horror story then seeing a movie. Mostly cause I'll dose off while reading and something will stick from the story.

 How is that even possible? Unfortunately I don't have any stories to share because I can never fall asleep while the TV is on.
