I like his voice and his style, but he can't rap IMO.

Also, his melodies (his singing) are kind of half-backed and undeveloped.

One of my favorite rappers, probably because of the fact that he doesn't exactly rap all the time.

He's honestly not very good at rapping. He rapped over the beat out Outkast's "Chonkyfire" (which is one of my favorite rap songs ever) and it was pretty poor IMO.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZaxNhtvV_I&feature=relatedHe has no chemistry with the beat and his flow is tepid.

Still, his voice has a nice texture when he singing. For instance, he sounds in great on Kanye's West's "Gorgeous."

He's also from C-town so I gotta give him credit for that. His music sucks, although I do like Day and Nite.

It's under average, but imo he has his moments.

I pretty much like every single song off his two albums but I need to listen to more on the mixtape 'A Kid Named Cudi'. Love the use of guitars in his songs (Alive - electric guitar, Up Up & Away - acoustic guitar, Down & Out - wah + electric). I like his sound on MOTM a little more than on MOTMII

I really liked his first album. Listened to it constantly for a few weeks. Me and all my friends would drive around bumpinevery song.But his new album is...ehhh. I like "Erase Me" alright, and some of the other songs are chill, but most of them Ican't really get into. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I lived in Colorado when the first album came out and I was...eating the same"greens" that Cudi eats. That could have put me on the right brain waveto appreciatehis music. Or maybe his new album just sucks because he wrote it while he was coked up, anyone hear about him getting arrested in NY?

Haha yeah I do too. Apparently you can get it for free onilne (legit not illegaly) but I never looked into it.

I think I saw it in a store once but it was overpriced imo. I'm pretty sure its on Amazon.

Also, Kid Cudi is one of my favorite rappers right now but i'm not really looking forward to his new rock album but I still have hope it will be good. Hopefully his new mixtape will be great as well.
