I know this isn't WebMD, but I was just wondering if anyone here who knows a bit about B Vitamins, or who takes them, could answer my questions.
I was in CVS getting some Airborne because everyone is getting sick and I think the stuff works to prevent you from getting sick (from my own experience, I usually don't get sick when I take Airborne 2-3 times a day for a few days when people around me are sick, and when I do get sick, I only do for 2-3 days at most, and it's never very severe when I take a lot of Airborne) and was browsing the vitamin aisle.
I know B vitamins are the energy vitamins, and since the cold weather has begun I've felt a bit more fatigued throughout the day. I figured this stuff could help. I was debating between one mix called B-50, and another B-100... I got B-50 because it has 3,000%DV B1, 2,900% B2, 2,500% B6, and 800% B12 among other things, while B-100 had like 5,000% B1, and a lot more of everything else..
Those massive percents seem weird, but I assume it's not harmful, correct? (I mean there were like 5,000 different mixtures of all kinds of "massive" percents of vitamins..lol).
Does this stuff really work? I know when I drink Red Bull as opposed to just coffee, or a caffeine pill, I feel a lot more energized, and I always attribute that to the B vitamins and other stuff in it... Also I hear a lot about B12 shots, and how they completely revitalize your body and mind.... Do they have a lot more B12 in it than this 833%? Well I really notice a difference in my energy level? I sleep well, but like I said I have been feeling fatigued / emotionally down lately.
Thanks!
