Back to school jitters

I cannot believe that here in louisiana, school starts so early. Its really bad to go back to school, seeing people in other states go back at other times. On top of that my school is a bad source of education, and it lacks a good network of teachers, they all seem to be there for the money, except a few.

When do you all go back to school?

I got school in a couple weeks. I've been working out all summer, built some muscles, got a nice tan, cleared my skin, whitened my teeth, got some new clothes. I'm not worried about school starting.Half-Life_man

August 25th!!! YAY!!!!!

I get to wear my new clothes and I wont be bored all the time.

My days will be super busy lol.

School, then if I have work Ill go to work and if I dont then Im going to my girlfriends.

Not to mention Im a senior and I only need 1 credit to graduate (English 4) so I dont even have to be there all day. I could either take the regular 7 course day, a 3 course day, or a 1 course day. I wanted to take 1 course only, but my parents wanted me to take the whole day which I wouldnt do. I'd forge a sig if I had too lol. So we settled on 3 course day and I could get my permit/license so I had a way to get to school for the days that I dont have to go in at normal time.

Well, about 18.0% of "my" town is below the poverty level, jobs are scarce, people who grew up here have no other choice but to be teachers. Even my spanish teacher, who just came here has stated that she only knows 3 good teachers, all the others dont care about anything.

In 3 and a half weeks. It's horrible. School is a nightmare and will be terrible this year with Grad projects and stuff going on. Not to mention parental pressure and the fact our school is overcrowded. We too have a poor teacher network, and many of them seem to be in it for nothing more than the summer vacations.Saturos3091

THere are less than 400 people in my school, I'm not trying to claw my way up or anything, just last year I was a quiet, skinny, pale guy and that is a road I don't want to go down again, I'm already halfway through high-school and accomplished nothing.

My town is sorta bad too. There are alot of middle class people but their is also a signifigant population that is below the povery level. Our schools haven't been renovated since like the 70's. The surrounding towns are actually nice though, which is actually kind of weird.

Thats kind of a bummer I guess. But enjoy high school while you can, well I mean the high school life. These are the last years you can truly live with out much responsibility and alot less stress.

Luncbox, I was thinking the same way as to what Half-Life_man was saying.

Im not ready to go to school yet, but it's gonna be easy. Im a senior next year and taking 5 classes, 3 which are electives.

Last time I really posted her I was starting high school and now I'm heading off to college.

I start school on the 28th. It'll be my senior year of high school.

I'm not dreading it or worrying about it, but I'm certainly not excited either. I could definitely go for some more summer, but whatever.. I'll just make the most of my last few weeks.

Yep, Senior year goes by so fast, every event is your last, so make sure you go to as many as you can.
