[QUOTE="Gamerkat"][QUOTE="-Austin-"][QUOTE="Gamerkat"][QUOTE="-Austin-"][QUOTE="Gamerkat"][QUOTE="caje47"][QUOTE="Gamerkat"] they all seem to be there for the money

If all they cared about was money, they wouldn't be teachers. Teachers get payed terribly.
Well, about 18.0% of "my" town is below the poverty level, jobs are scarce, people who grew up here have no other choice but to be teachers. Even my spanish teacher, who just came here has stated that she only knows 3 good teachers, all the others dont care about anything.
Um, you can move?
Yea, I can, being 16, having a step dad in Afghanistan, only 3 more years
My town is sorta bad too. There are alot of middle class people but their is also a signifigant population that is below the povery level. Our schools haven't been renovated since like the 70's. The surrounding towns are actually nice though, which is actually kind of weird.
Yea idk, I've heard other schools around here are ok, the nearest one to me is a 500 person school, its said to be racist, 480 white people, 3 african americans, some hispanics
I doubt it's racist. It's probably just a clique thing.
usually in the area he described, white parents grab their children when a african american or hispanic rounds the corner.
