i know theres alot of myspace topics and i asked a while ago for a bunch of Gs users opinions on myspace and everyone aid it sucked, so i amde a myspace and it doenst suck at all, i mean it a bad website with glitches and such but its an easy way to communicate with your firend and find music and watch vids and whatnot all at once, can someone explains why you guys hate it so much? do you have friends cause i think myspace is a great site. And dont guive me any of thwat crap about sexual predators, you'd have to be a moron to accept someones firend request, talk to thm, not know anything about them, and then go to meet them somewere..seriously thats just stupid.

Contradict much? Most people don't like myspace because of how trendy it is. At the same time, you can communicate with your friends just as easily as using a phone or face to face. You can listen to music and watch movies anywhere else. Myspace is just a clone of every other site.
People like to hate it because it's "trendy" or "filled with emos omg". But I find it a nice way to communicate with friends, discover new music, and what have you.

i agree with you, the only people you can talk to are ones on your friend list so like who cares whos on there, i think some of these people just have no friends
Well i dont hate it.....but my opinion on it is a website that kids go on to boost their egos.....see how many "Friends" they have (they arent really friends...maybe like 2 or 3 of them....most of them are just people they have made eye contact with in the past 5 years).....and so they can take pictures of themselves and get comments like "you are so hott" and then they go and comment back to the person with the same thing...
I dont need a website to "communicate" with friends (95% dont use it to communicate, considering they see the people at school everyday...) or a website to boost my self-esteem...
myspace is a nice site if you want to talk to friends. What I don't like about it is that people tend to use it as their only medium of communication when they should be talking to people face to face.
It's not so much that the stuff on the site is bad, it's just poorly built. Every time I go there the pages don't load all the way and I get error messages.
I'm not into any of the social network sites (Myspace, Facebook, Bebo, Hi5, etc) they seem pointless to me. i can't stand looking at most peoples pages (loud, crappy songs, cluttered, ugly pages, etc), i only would use it for friends, guess what, i know what my firends look like, i dont need to see pics of them. There are better ways to watch videos and listen to music. It might be good to get in touch with old friends, but i would much rather communicate face to face, over the phone, in IMs, etc. Social network sites just seem worthless to me, there is no need.
There is nothing wrong with it. Lots of people just hate it because it's popular, and people that struggle with their identity want to feel different, so they rebel against it and rip on it to feel good. But it's fine to have it as long as you dont have a picture with your shirt off.
