Vin Diesel is God in actor form. His voice is so much better than Morgan Freeman's.

No seriously, he's a legitimately good actor when he wants to be. Check out some of his more serious roles - Multi-Facial and Strays (both of which he wrote, directed, and produced!), Boiler Room, and maybe Find Me Guilty. The man has an enormous amount of talent in more realms than just acting.

I think if it had been released in 07 or 08 it would have had a much better reception (not to mention it might have had a bigger budget and better CGI) It sure as hell would have resonated better.

Van Helsing. Overuse of cgi, odd acting, and laughable writing. But I enjoy the vampire and werewolf designs immensely.

All the movies I like are atleast good.
