Trivium and Slipknot. I'm not embarassed to say I like them though.

mainstream music is generally not popular on gamespot forums (i.e. here). Thats why a lot of posters are talking about mainstream bands they like but others don't, like FOB.

umm, last time I checked, this is an internet forum, not everyone is going to agree.  In fact, thats why forums exsist, for people to express their opinions.

Seriously. Last time I checked, AILD isn't on TRL, or mtv for that matter.  They may be considered a mainstream band in the metal world, but the genre metal  overall is an underground genre.  Ownage denied COB fanboy.

Not many that I know of likes Simon & Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, Daft Punk, The Doors, Infected Mushroom (and more) as much as I do. I'm not ashamed for listening to any of the bands I listen to, though.Litchie

mtv2 =/= mtv.  totally different channel. I'm not talking about Headbangers Ball or the metal show on FUSE (I don't watch it so I don't know what its called).  Avatars =/= sigs.  I happen to think the cd cover is awesome, and the band is in my top 5. Thats why its my avatar. I don't have a pic of the band it in my sig w/ my name photoshoped in, and sigs are about 10x the size of an avatar. Fission Mailed.
