Bands that you used to like that now s*ck

What are some of the bands that you used to like that now suck, or sold out?

Here are some of mine:

-Hed pe...After Broke it starting going downhill. Blackout was the last tollerable album.

-Creed...Newer stuff starting sounding all the same. Old stuff was great.

- Disturbed...only liked first cd. Rest just didn't have the awesome sound as the first.

-Static-X...First couple of Cd's their songs were catchy. Now they just suck.

I gotta disagree with you on Static X, I saw them at Ozzfest about a month and a half ago, and they kicked so much ass, it wasnt even funny.hillelslovak

I haven't checked them out in a year or so, so maybe I'm missing out on the newest cd. I'll check it out.

Metallica is good but their new stuff compared to their old stuff sucks.

Alot of people are dissing Atreyu's new album which i actually like, they left their metalcore sound and went for a hard rock kind of sound in their new album.

I almost forgot about them. Their first cd was alright. Re-Animation I thought was just a cheap way to get money, and then the next cd was too much similar sounding to the first one at which point I decided they suck.

Same here. Matthew may have stopped screaming, but I like his clean vocals, so I still think they're pretty good.

Shadow Zone is my favourite still though. And I like Start A War.....come to think of it, I like the first two the least after hearing them all!

Atreyu's new album totally makes me sticky, though I really hate Epic :( Worst bonus track ever. Their career wouldn't have been complete without Blow though :) Oh and before that, DGoY has my two favourite songs by them, Creature and My Fork in the Road.

LP....I like M2M, but Reanimation is still my favourite album of all time by anyone.

Never liked AS to begin with.

C'mon... Incubus changes every album... even though Light Grenades was mainstreamish, doesn't mean their next album will be too.

I guess we'll find out. But I definitely liked Science more than anything else they've put out. Make Yourself was decent too...

And I was expecting alot of NIN attacking because of With Teeth. It's my favourite but it's radio play I think is what killed it for fans.

Dream Theater is starting down the mediocre path. Systematic Chaos and Octavarium was a step down in quality IMO.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned In Flames, yet?

Children of Bodom seems to go down in boredom, too.

Lamb of God is starting to repeat themselves abit to much. Sacrament only had 1-2 killer songs. I expect more from them.

Slayer is also a given, also, Megadeth.

Just a note, not all these bands suck. They are just in the danger zone of ending up sucking if they don't somehow change their path.

You might as well add Sepultura to the metal list, I wasn't feeling their last album.

Sevendusts latest effort isn't nearly as great as they have been in the past. Starting to think the death of the singers brother is starting to effect his music. I'm trying to think of some rap artists that have gone downhill but can't think of any at this point. Del's new cd is coming out October 2nd...and it better not be a dissapointment!

Which reminds me...Tomahawk's new cd is pretty terrible. Mike Patton was actually trying to go for a native american sound which doesn't fit him at all imo.

I used to like Simple Plan, Blink 182, and Sum 41. But nowadays they aren't very good.
