I would if I could. I can tolerate a great many popular artists, but to say I find their music compelling to the point that I would actively seek it out would be a straight up lie.
Can you tolerate Lifehouse?

WHAT? surely you werent under a rock in the 90s with the most played song of the decade hanging by a moment???? new album came out last year, its pretty good.

Looked it up on Youtube... don't recognize the melody at all. But then, it's not the sort of song that would make any sort of impression on me whatsoever. By the 90s, I certainly wasn't listening to any popular music by choice, and though I would of course be exposed to such music in other places, I wouldn't be able to put specific titles to melodies or group. I'd just recognize the tunes.
I don't imagine you know too much about cIassical artists from the 90s, either. If you have no reason to delve into a subject, chances are you won't delve into it. And suffice it to say that I prefer the Chopin and Beethoven music I was listening to in the 90s over Hanging by a Moment.

I prefer soundtrack music, usually from the works of John Murphy, John Williams and Micheal Salvatorri, and Martin O Donnell.. If anyone can mix awesome guitar and piano, and thats it, I would be all over it, but thats just me..

Live were/are infinitely better than Lifehouse (imo)... try Secret Samedhi and Thowing Copper, two brilliant albums, and Secret.. has the song I Alone. One of my favorite alltime songs.

Ever tried some themes by Nubuo Uematsu/The Black Mages? Granted, it's Final Fantasy music, but listen to songs like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGgDCDrWvQ0&feature=related, it mixes rock and lots of stuff if you listen all the way through.
Jack Johnson
John Mayer
Gavin Mikhail( if you haven't heard of him look him up) he is a very good musician
Like some of My Chemical Romance stuff.killer_is_meThey have some awesome stuff. Yea some crappy stuff too more so with their newest CD. But they still have some awesome stuff. As for me, I don't know. I haven't been here long enough for anyone to know me so how am I going to surprise you?:? Mindless Self Indulgence? Flyleaf? Dream Theater?
