Banned from a web site question

I was banned on anohter site. Someone posted a porn picture and I quoted it and made a comment. Esentualy by quoting it it reposted the picture. They banned me for the picture someone elses post. Is there a way to get unbanned?

there is no way we can answer that without knowing the website. even then your chances of us knowing the terms of use of that website and their policy on bans is slim, then even if we do know that, the chances are even slimmer that we can do something about it

If they have the same rules as here, then you are responsible for what you post. A quote from someone else becomes part of your post, so it's up to you to filter out violations.

No reason it shouldn't. If a web proxy is used then it will use the proxy's key and transmit the page back in standard HTTP or HTTPS using the proxy's SSL cert (usually with a banner of somesort attached too), if it's a VPN proxy then it will use the key on his local machine as SSL is invisible to the proxy. Not sure how something like Tor or Alkasir would effect it.
