Me and a couple of friends are puting together a cover band. Mostly rock song. We're trying to get a good set list for bars. You know the songs that come on when you're drunk and make you yell "Oh my God! I love this song!".

So far we we got:

Dr. Love by Kiss
Mama Kin by Aerosmith
Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppline
You're Crazy by Guns N Roses
Search and Destroy by Iggy Pop
Give It Away by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Good songs? Yes? No?

We were thinking about doing Hash Pipe by Weezer and Sleep Now in the Fire by Rage Against The Machine but we're not sure how that would go over.

So any song sugustions to further perpetuate this list?

Guilty pleasure songs tend to do well w/ cover bands as long as you don't do exact covers.

So bone up on some MC hammer, Vanilla ice, britney spears, and 50-cent.

Give It Away? No, go with Under the Bridge

Weezer sucks

Rage sucks

And you should play Bohemian Rhapsody and Piano Man, but good luck pulling off either of those or half the other tracks mentioned, either...
