Alright, yesterday was my 18th birthday, and I was trying to come up with all the pros and cons of becoming of age.

Pros

• You can Vote
• You can Pick Up the Puppies at the Pet Store
• You can Sit in the Massage Chairs at Brookstone
• You can Click the "I'm Over 18" on porn sites without lying
• You can Drive all Hours of the Night [well in MA you can't drive between 12am & 5am if you are under 18]
• You can Finally get into Clubs
• You can Buy Scratch Tickets
• You can Buy Porn Magazines from 7/11
• You can Enter the "18 +" Room at Blockbuster
• You can Get a Credit Card and Stop Bugging your Parents for theirs
• You can Get Better Paying Jobs
• You can go to NC-17 Rated Movies
• You can Get a Tattoo or Piercing without a Parent Concent

Cons

• You can Buy Cigarettes [Smoking=BAD; you might think otherwise]
• You now Have to Pay Taxes
• You can't Leech Off your Parents anymore since you are an Adult
• You can now Commit Sagutory Rape
• You get Sentenced by the Court as an Adult
• You can't Punch that Annoying Minor anymore

Other [I didn't know if these were good or bad]

• You can Star in Porn
• You can Go to the Strip Club

• Can you think of any others?
• What do you think is the best & worst thing of tunring legal?

You forgot the best pros:

Buying bullets for rifles and shotguns!

Buying paint, white-out, fingernail clippers, or other assorted items that Walmart thinks are unsafe.

this thread made me think of some movies, cartoon movies ;)

I dont really know what to say to you, but most of the things you said are something that you could have done with ease even before you become 18, other then that, well it sucks to get older, and you will miss the time before you became 18.

You can't get into the good clubs at 18! And where I'm from, in Nassau County, NY, you can't even buy cigarettes! And buying scratch off tickets isn't a pro...trust me, dont waste your hard earned money!Mumbles527
