$3,000 a person wont do much to help a person now a days, it will only effect the countries budget...
guarentee you 50% of the people spend it on crap to (drugs, etc)

...60 really good nights at the bars
...a nice, new big screen TV with 1800 dollars leftover to buy a surround sound system, a bunch of movies, and a recliner.
...150 months of gas
...car repairs should anything happen to my precious Jeep
...a trip to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and, god forbid, some cavities taken care of
Ya, that is definately not doing a lot to help me or anyone nowadays :roll:
And the government is getting that money from us, and returning it to us. I love how people think that the government just takes our money and we never see it again. We do see it...we see it in the tanks and guns that protect us, the roads we drive on, the food our kids are fed at school...and, hopefully, we see it in a modest-albeit-extremely-useful 3000 dollar check. Ive said it before, but taxes are not bad...its what the tax revenue is spent on that determines if its good or bad.
This, at least for me and thousands, even millions, of people is a good thing. I make 12k a year after taxes, so believe me...I need this. And no, I dont live on welfare, I am employed, and I work my ass off.
