not exactly bart but the lady who does his voice..nancy cartwright...XENU has even tainted the simpsons

Actress Nancy cartwright , the voice behind cartoon character Bart Simpson, has been awarded Scientology's Patron Laureate Award after donating $10 million to the faith in 2007. Cartwright's gift - almost two times her annual salary from The simpsons - puts her top of a list of celebrity benefactors, who have handed over their hard-earned cash to the Church of Scientology

Nancy, who makes over $200,000 per episode of The Simpsons, donated twice as muchas the Queen Scientologist, Tommy Cruise, who only gave $5 million in an installment plan.

Lol yeah, that episode always reminds me of Scientology. "The Leader is good, the leader is great!" And they all think they will get on a giant spaceship and fly to Blisstopia!

It's only two years of her salary. Fairly easy to save.

Meh. I paid $1000 for my computer and $1500 for my new camera.

Probably could have used that money to change someone's life, but whatever. It's my money, I do what I want.

Would she leave if the Simpsons ridicule or parody Scientology? Like you know, when the voice actor of Chief left Southpark because the latter made fun of Scientology.

This isn't going to stop me from watching the Simpsons. However, giving that much money to a pointless cause (imo) is stupid.

He then got mutilated by a bear. Bart would probably get killed by that guy (forgot his name).

The difference between 10 million dollars and 2,500 dollars? 10 million dollars could actually contribute to something worthwhile. Either way,it is her money. She can do as she pleases with it. And god knows Scientology is hurting for cash.

Bah,they always threaten something 'big' then they just shut the site down, maybe steal some documents. Neet little tricks, but more of an annoyance than anything.

Not if you think that computers and cameras are ****ing stupid.

Frankly, it boggles my mind how you guys can waste so much money playing videogames, watching stupid movies, and listening to crappy music. But what the hell, it's your money, not mine.

You don't think $2500 can do anything worthwhile?

One of the guys I used to work with just lost everything he freaking owns. I'm sure he'd REALLY appreciate $2500. When you don't have ANYTHING, $2500 is a LOT of ****ing money.

Gotta make a mental note to donate some money to that guy. I don't think I've ever even talked to him, but I've gotta at least throw him $100 to buy some secondhand clothes for his kids. And I'm sure he'll appreciate it, even though it's only $100 measly ****ing dollars, rather than a whopping $2500.

Here's the thing...$2500 isn't much to you and me because we have $2500. We can spend $2500, still have money left over, and not hurt our way of living. So we don't think anything about throwing away $2500.

Likewise, I'm sure that Nancy Cartwright can afford to give away $10 million, still have money left over, and not hurt her way of living. So she probably doesn't think anything about giving away $10 million.

Whatever. It's all relative, really.

What gameplan? They're a bunch of useless nobodys. Hence; "Anonymous".

Their name is Anonymous because the site they post on requires no log in details and everyone's default name is "Anonymous". They also want to protect their identities so the Scientologists can't sue them, which is the Church's main weapon, lawyers and money.

They've already organised prank calls, spammed their fax machines with pages of black ink, crashed scientology websites and leaked confidential documents over the internet.

As for useless, they've taken down child porn and white supremist websites and as far as I know they're the ones who spoiled the release of the last Harry Potter book; "Snape kills ****!!!"

Right now they're organising a protest in February across the USA and other parts of the world.

Read this earlier it really is just disgusting. That money could have made a huge difference to some charity or medical research but no she gives it to a cult so she can get a higher ranking than the others. What do they do with the money? Build a shelter in case Xenu returns? "She is a member of the Church of Scientology, joining in 1989, becoming a Clear (a Scientology term for being free of malevolent alient spirits that were banished to Earth (aka "Teegeeack") by the Evil Space Lord Xenu)" How can people take this seriously? Evil...space...lord??? They expect people to see them as a religion? Ugh!

I can't believe people fall for this pyramid scheme parading as a religion. Can you imagine any other faith where you have to fork over money every time you wanted to pray or crack open a religious text?

All major religions are pyramid schemes, this one is especially horrid though.

Ugh! clubhaxor
It sounds like a bad sci fi movie if you ask me.

[QUOTE="EVOLV3"]Dear God, its a freakin Cult for rich people. All its ment to do is make Celebs hand over cash. This is like that episode of the Simpsons with the crazy cult guy and the fake UFO which would bring them to another planet.Colonel_Cool
Lol yeah, that episode always reminds me of Scientology. "The Leader is good, the leader is great!" And they all think they will get on a giant spaceship and fly to Blisstopia!

Though the episode revolves around the practices of any cult, what a surprise that the proverbial glove fits scientology so effectively...

[QUOTE="Xeros606"]lol, anon will do someting about this!Red-XIII

i wonder how this effects their gameplan.

Oh, they're actually pretty good then. Fox made them come off as annoying kids.
