Beggars.. Do they annoy you?

Seems like everywhere I go around in my city I always end up having some dude or chic ask me for some money. I've given in to a few and i've told a few to **** off and go find a job like the rest of us :lol:.

But whats your take on beggars? and share any stories you may have.

i tried and avoid them. there aren't many where i live (i don't recall seeing any actually)

but when I go to downtown LA, yeah they annoy me. Specially their foul smell. (pee, beer and sweat) :?

I blow them off and laugh at them because they want drug money. Mostly here they are males who need drugs for sex.roulettethedog

They get arrested where I live. By the regional transit police, train security.Also patrolmen if they are caught on the street. So I don't see too much of it around where I live. MagnumPI

where i am from we call them homeless people. and i am annoyed by the fact that society has allows them to remain homeless.maximusmmii

I just say "I don't have anything for you." And try to get on with my life. I don't presume that I know enough about them to know that they could be doing something better for themselves. For some people, that really is the last and only option.

I wouldn't mock them, or laugh, or hate them for their misfortune. It's a troublesome aspect of our society, but not something that we're likely to be rid of any time soon.

I stopped giving them money. I'll give/buy them food if they want it, but they never take me up on the offer, and always make excuse after excuse why they can't eat it.

I find it funny when they want money for food yet they aren't willing to take food you give them.
