The scene from Die Hard where he uses a hose to fling himself off the side of a building and inside, then puts his last two 9mm bullets into his pistol, tapes it to his back, and fake surrenders to Hans.

It's not super balls out action though, in that regard I might point out Heat's bank robbery and post robbery shoot out as my favorite gun fight.

3. Matrix - Rescue of Morpheus

4. Matrix Revolutions - Dock Battle

5. Inception - Hotel fight

6. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - the fight between the two women

7. Sucker Punch - The first battle with the samurais

8. Children of Men - So many but the finale

9. Speed Racer - Final Race but all of the races were varied and perfect

10. True Lies - First terroist fight up to the horse on the roof.

The one that comes to mind is The Dark Knight Rise's Intro.

My vote goes to the ending sequence of Carlito's Way (Al Pacino and Sean Penn, 1993).

I couldn't find it on YouTube, but perhaps that's a good thing: The movie is well worth watching in its entirety.

There are too many to mention, but I liked the Figth scene between Colin Farel and Kate Beckinsale in Total Recall and the subsequent chase sequence is awesome, better than anyhting in Bourne.

The hallway scene in The Raid Redemption (warning explicit content and might be to manly for most people to handle)

Probably something from an old Jet Li Kung Fu movie, but I can't remember movie titles, saw them when I was a kid

- When the Aliens attack them by coming through the ceiling in Aliens
- The "Ride of the Valkyries" scene in Apocalypse Now
- The long chase across the desert in The Good, The Bad, The Weird
- Parkour scene in Casino Royale
- Mine-cart chase in Temple of Doom

It's impossible for me to pick a definitive favourite, but here's a list of 10 of the best that come to mind:

• Matrix: Reloaded - Freeway chase sequence.
• Matrix: Reloaded - Neo fights loads of Smiths.
• Taken - Pretty much every action scene is slick and gratifying.
• Rambo - Final violent scene with Sly on a .50 cal turret.
• Bad Boys 2 - Frantic car chase ending in a pile up (including a boat).
• District 9 - Epic final battle with Sharlto Copley in a mech.
• Battle: Los Angeles - Last battle.
• Fast and Furious 5 - Car chase dragging a bank vault.
• 2012 - L.A. escape scene.
• The Avengers - All teaming up in an epic last sequence.

There are so many more that it would be too much to name, but Die Hard series, Inception, Dark Knight Trilogy, Predator, Pirates of the Caribbean and many more have awesome action scenes all worthy of making a Top 10 list.
