Behemoth - The Apostasy Wintersun - Wintersun aaronmullanThose two are excellent as well. The Apostasy is easily Behemoth's best work (especially since it was recorded but a few times). Demigod had a very generic sound but was executed extremely well (plus Nergal's vox were incredible on that album).

Everything about it is amazing as well. BWP is my third, but you can tell they were progressing in a different direction by that point (not a bad direction at all for that matter). For Dark Tranquillity I've always been more of a Character/Fiction person. They don't sound as subdued on their newer stuff, but Damage Done and even Haven/Projector were great (as was The Gallery of course :P). Clayman is easily my favorite by In Flames. Jester Race and Whoracle, while excellent, just don't have the lasting power and variety of Clayman. I prefer Mercenary's 11 Dreams to Hours that Remain, but both are excellent CDs. For Dimmu I'm more of a Stormblast person. Not much to really say about the rest, all excellent picks. I need to get into Isis.Opeth - Still Life
