Kind of a Dull year. The VAST technically counts I guess but it's true release date was late 2004 when a few coppies squeeked out, it was just in a legal battle till 2006 when it went to retail stores.

Madonna "Confessions On A Dance Floor" (technically it was released in '05, however the grammys only just gave it awards so in my book it counts.)

Though it's a compilation, not an album. 
4) All That Remains-The Fall of Ideals (If every song was as good as "Six" or "Whispers" this album would be higher)
3) Sick of It All-Death To Tyrants (Definitely my fav punk cd ever!)
2) Incubus-Light Grenades (An all around incredible cd. It is actually the first cd of theirs I bought.)
1) Katatonia-The Great Cold Distance (One of the best cd's I have ever heard!)
