Best and worst songs by your favorite band(s)

We all have a favorite band, some of us have more than one. And we all have songs we think are that/those band(s) best and worst. What would you say are the best and worst songs by your favorite band(s)?

With me, my favorite bands are Metallica and Dream Theater. IMO, the best Metallica song is The Outlaw Torn. Sure, it's later Metallica, but it's an amazing song. I think their worst song is... uh, I guess either Fixxxer or Hero of the Day.

Best DT song, IMO, is About to Crash. It's uplifting in it's tune, but sad in it's lyrics. That contrast makes it great, and the piano work is incredible. The worst song, without a doubt, is The Shattered Fortress. The Glass Prison was a cool song, but Shattered Fortress copies it in name, sound and lyrics, and does it worse.

My favorite band is The Strokes. Their worst song is probably Fear of Sleep and their best song, imo, is Under Control.

I like your taste in music. Aside from Amon Amarth, it's nearly the same as mine. I think Judas Priest's best song is Hell Patrol, though. And Black Sabbath's best song would be either Sabbra Cadabra or Never Say Die, IMO. Frantic is terrible, but the best song on St. Anger. Hallowed be Thy Name is one of my top Maiden songs, but IMO the best is Holy Smoke (and nobody has ever heard of it). With Megadeth, the best song is Back in the Day. I just think it's made of win. As for Disturbed, I much prefer Deciever or The Night.

I also like Rape Men but it's my least favorite song of Nirvana.

As for Stairway to Heaven, Light My Fire and Smells like Teen Spirit, I liked these songs, then I thought they were overrated but for some reason, I never get tired of listening to them. They never bore me and I always blast it whenever it's on. However, I respect your opinion. I'm not sure about Hellraiser but it is my least favorite song by Motorhead.

Also the entire album Indestructible surprised me in a pleasant way, right from Indestructible to Facade...and even the bonus songs Run and Parasite were very good.

Too bad you can't get into Amon Amarth though...They are probably in the running against Iron Maiden for my favorite band.

Avenged Sevenfold Favourite: Anything from City of Evil, basically. Bat Country, MIA and Strength of the World are all great examples. Least favourite: Most anything from Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, with the exception of Streets, Darkness Surrounding, Lips of Deceit and Warmness on the Soul.
