Best Anime Ever?

Code Geass ep 1

I just finished seeing the whole Anime including r2 in Japaneese. And it is the best Anime I have ever seen. The story is just soo good. If you watched this Anime what other do you recomend? and if you haven't which anime do you like?

Please if you have seen all of Code Geass say so. That way I can know which anime I would propably like more.

BTW I liked this anime because of the complexity of the story. There is no good or bad, means vs ends. Etc.

IMO, The best anime I have seen is probably Cowboy Bebop.

But my favorite anime is between FMA, Cowboy Bebop, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Best is Evangelion Rebuild. Second best is Neon Genesis Evangelion. My favourite, even though it isn't even an anime is Avatar: The Last Airbender. I just finished the first season and got my whole world rocked.foxhound_fox

I have heard NGE is good, but i'm hesitant to watch it 'cause the ending was spoiled for me.epayps2

Movies: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust; Ninja Scroll Akira; Ghost in the Shell 2; Cowboy Bepop.

TV: Berserk; Cowboy Bebop; Ninja Scroll; Excel Saga; Tenchi Muyo.

I may have alot of haters for this but i have quite a few favorite anime's. The first is probably naruto in japanese of course (also caught up in the manga side aswell) and it has alot of good battles and can get pretty attached to it the more you read/watch.

Another favorite of mine is Bleach, i think its awesome because it again has a few good fights and can get interesting, especially the part thats in the manga right now, although i think that naruto is better then this and the filler that just ended for the anime was realllly bad.

Heres one that some of you may have never heard about and its Gantz. This anime is really cool and very interesting, its pretty much based in japan and can really relate to the real world, its not all about fighting and again, can relate to the real world. The story gets interesting and after every fight it will make you think "wow that was awesome, i wonder who they will fight next." Although there is nudity and alot of language in it. I recommend reading the manga becasue i havent watched all of the shows(just started today and im on episode 3) but i hear it ends on season 2. I have been caught up in the manga and its currently on chapter 283 and a new chapter is released every 2 weeks and i recommend that you read the manga. I personally never heard of it until a friend told me about it, but when i started getting into i, to this day wish that the chapters would be released weekly instead of every 2 weeks because im really addicted to it and like i said not every chapter has fighting in it and the latest ones dont so its kinda annoying lol But for those who havent seen it, you still have a good 283 chapters to read and by the time you catch up you may be in a really good battle.

Avatar is pretty awesome for an american made cartoon.

I'd have to say the best in my opinion would be naruto and yea that includes the manga and shippuuden episodes in japanese. My favorite would have to be Basilisk just because i really liked the story, the fights, and the characters.Rave-Cero

I have..

The first season was quite good.

The second season started off alright..but started going downhill quite quickly. It was completely all over the place, and I just lost all interest at about episode 22ish..still haven't finished it (yeah, I know..only a couple episodes left. I'll get to it eventually.)

As for the best anime I've seen: I dunno. There's quite a few shows I've considered "great" from various genres...but no single series stands out as "the best." The closest thing I have would be favorites within each genre, I guess.

I've seen Code Geass...I wasn't impressed, since it's just a sci-fi version of Death Note.

My favourites right now are Neon Genesis Evangelion, Black Lagoon, Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, and Samurai Champloo.

So I'm guessing none of you have seen code geass?

Have you watched the entire Rebuild Of Evangelion? How many parts does it have? I currently own part 1 and was just blown away, I still can't believe how much they could improve on what was already a masterpiece, so I can't wait to watch the rest of it, but I didn't even know all of it was out already. Is it just two OVA's? Three? Four? :D

I have. Didn't think much of it. Found a lot of the characters inherently unlikable.

My favourite anime is Akira, as it was the first one I saw and I still watch it from time to time now. Series wise I realy enjoyed Evangelion, FullMetal Alchemist, Azumanga Daioh and Clannad.

I've watched Code Geass. And I must say I absolutely LOVED it. It was incredible, to say the least.

It's not my favourite anime, though. The best I've ever seen is Neon Genesis Evangelion.
