I was thinking the other day: I should make a poll on some primarily hamburger restaurants. I wanted to know what you guys think of the restaurants in the poll. I personally like Sonic, and I despise McDonald's (everyone else has the option to put bacon on their sandwich, yet you just came out with a chicken sandwich, WTF?).

Wendy's, if I had to choose. They're alright, but I'm too big on beef.

None of those, I prefer places that actually make the burgers.

My order:

In N Out > FatBurger > Jack in the Box > Wendy's > McDonalds > Carl's Jr. > Burger King

Cant decide where to put others (like Jollibee, Astro Burger, Hamburger Hamlet, etc but a lot of them are above Burger King -- I hate Burger King unless its breakfast food)

None of them are really great for you health wise, but I like wnedys the best, the bacon classic one.

Burger kings are the worst for you though, they still use lots of trans fats.

Here in Canada we don't have as many as america, and they are more expensive. I always see those checkers commercials on american stations that are liek 2$ for 2 burgers? How do they afford that? A burger here is like 4$..

My favourite burger place is a local one that isn't a chain, they just make such good burgers.

Carls' jr > jack in teh box.

Carl's jr is like the ritzest of the fast food, but in and out is the best :P

Yeah but I like Jack's greasy burgers more -- maybe I will go Carl's Jr. over McDonalds -- since I do prefer McD's breakfast menu over their regular menu and Carl's has the Ultimate Western Bacon Cheese Burger or whatever its called.

I have to add that McDonald's burgers are edible, if not much else. Their breakfast menu (especially coffee) is much better, though.

Cheeburger Cheeburger. Over 1000 flavors of shakes. Over 30 Burger Toppings. Best Chicken Snadwhiches I've ever eaten, and Waffle Fries come standard instead of crappy French fries. Best of all, your meal is served in a little cardboard cut-out 50's car :P

Just so you know, you CAN get a bacon cheeseburger at McDonald's. You just have to ask for bacon...

Anyway, of fast food burger places, Carl's Jr. (In 'n' Out's great, but their menu is pathetically simple) Of real burger places, yeah, Fuddruckers.

I ate there during my trip to Ireland in July, but I didn't try the Irish McDonalds.

I liked American burgers a lot better, but that's just preference.

It's all right, but it isn't very interesting. The patty is just kind of a vehicle for the toppings.

Their burgers never really wowed me over. I mean, they were good, but just not "I'll go out of my way for them". I will say their Island Fire burger rocked, and I'd wish they'd bring that back. But for me, they're more of an awesome breakfast place. Their toaster breakfast sandwiches and french toast sticks rock!

McDonalds and Arbys. Wait, is Arbys considered a burger joint? :?_LiquidFlame_

Athough they do serve sandwiches consisting of beef, that particular beef is in sliced roast beef form, not hamburger patty form, so unfortunately your nomination for Arbys as Best Burger Join cannot be considered at this time.

Of the fast food chains I've been to, I guess the best burgers would be from Whataburger or Steak and Shake. The best non-chain fast food place I've been to was All American.
