Just saw Diplo on the Mad Decent tour. Dude is awesome, played over a 2 hour set, no breaks. Nonstop party insane. Dude also rules for bringing Abe Vigoda on the tour, who I've seen around 5 times now and are some of the most awesome dudes around.
Diplo also helped produce MIA's Kala album. (paper planes for the brozzzz)
of all the music i have on my comp im mostly listening to armin van buuren ( top 1 dj for like 2 years in a row ) a state of trance albums, they are pretty cool id suggest to download and listen to it
Out of the really main DJs I've gotta give the candle to Armin Van Buuren, I'm glad he won the best DJ of the year award. (I even saw him live a couple weeks ago)
But there are so many better lesser known DJs and Groups like Donkey Rollers and Flutlicht.
Armin Van Buuren is the best. Tiesto is good. I don't know why you idiots keep saying that Tiesto is a bad DJ. You've obviously never been to any of his shows. Neophyte, Korsakoff, Outblast, Angerfist for you gabber lovers. For those of you that appreciate Trance music, you guys should tune in to di.fm. It's an awsome internet radio station.
uh. I don't really know what a DJ is, but my favorite musician (RDJ) has been called a DJ in the past I guess. he does live shows a lot but I don't know if that's really DJing. But then, if that's not quite proper DJing then it's impossible to distinguish oneself in that field.
