that ending made me sad:(
I liked it because it was unexpected.too many movies now have endings in which everyone lives happily ever after.

yeah I wanna see more sad endings, I cant remember the last movie I saw with a sad ending that was actually good. Also kids shouldnt survive movies so often. The kids in movies like Poseidon and 28 weeks later are either really annoying, dumb or mess up everything. Yet they always live even though adults stronger and smarter than them die. Kill tons of adults its fine, kill one kid and everyone freaks out.
Monster A Go-Go:
"Suddenly there was no trail. There was no giant, no monster, no thing called Douglas to be followed."
holy mountain
the characters embark on a journey to find the key to imortality which lies at the peek of the holy mountain. once they find it, the camera zooms out in a brechtian reveal, showing the crew, filming the movie and the character played by the director says that there is no holy mountain and that everything we saw was just a movie.
