What? :? Wes Anderson is great.
Guiellermo del Toro, Jean-pierre Jeunet, Akira Kurosawa, Ingmar Bergman, Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, Alfonso Cuaron, Wes Anderson, Terry Gilliam...
Spielberg
He has done every thing from Hollywood block busters ( actually invented summer blockbuster :P ) like Jurassic Park, family clas sics like ET, and emotional pieces like Schindler's List.
He also headed the creation of Dreamworks (the S in SKG is for him)

Edit: Oops for some reason i just read this as the most consistent directors...but yea he may not be knownfor directoring, but several movies by Charlie Kaufman are great (Eternal Sunshineof the Spotless Mind, "Synecdoche, New York" and Being John Malkovich)
Let's not forget Ridley Scott and Darren Aronofsky.harashawnoh yes, Ridley Scott. Definitely. I think I am the only guy who loves Body of Lies, but that movie, IMO, is one of the best espionage movies I ever watched. And great thing about Ridley Scott's movie is that they almost never get old for me, but is deep enough to be impressive.
Based off of the line pattern in that picture, I would have to guess it is Guillermo del Toro?I think U guys/ladies know what mine is.

NOT ON MY WATCH
[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"]The Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, and Quentin Tarantino are consistently great. I would say Sophia Coppola too, but she only has three movies. And let's not forget Scorcese. Hope I didn't misspell any of those - why do directors always have to have difficult names?Neon-TigerIt's "Sofia", not "Sophia". :P
checking spelling won't help youmake too much friends ....
BYLAIFE MIE !!!:P

Alter Bridge sig won't help you much in that regard either. :PGlad to see some David Lynch love. Many folks don't like his work.Neon-TigerLynch is an awesome director, but some of his stuff is hit or miss with me. Like Dune. I know, being a geek, I'm supposed to love it.
wes craven
sam raimi
james cameron
steven spielberg
john carpenter
rob zombie
Rob Zombie?! He only makes movies so he can cram his annoying-ass wife into them.[QUOTE="Neon-Tiger"]Glad to see some David Lynch love. I think Lynch had minimal creative control over Dune, so I'd overlook that when reviewing his oeuvre. >_> Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me is the only one of his films I've found to be sub-par, though I still have many to see yet.
