Cantaloupe is the best theoretically, but these days most cantaloupes don't taste that great (although when you find a good one it's truly an amazing sensation). Bananas are more consistent so I tend to favor those more.FunkyhamsterI once got spoken to by a grocery worker after I examined all the cantaloupes in a huge pile and didn't end up taking one. They were all too bruised.

Did you know you can mix and match bananas to make your on custom bunch? They are sold by the pound, not the bunch so its perfectly legal.
I'm a melon freak, so I'm going to have to go with cantaloupe. With a little salt, please.br0kenrabbitCantalope with salt.... i was like that sounds nasty, but then I realized about a second later that that sounds (or tastes) pretty good. Mine is a peach, now im gonna try cantalopes with salt.
How could u not put orange in the poll, its the best fruit ever.machod_19'cause they are messy. That's like negative 100,000 points right there.
Peaches.
But here's the catch - they have to be freestone Red Havens and they're only good for the first three weeks of August. They don't keep well and they don't ship well. They're also far juicier and sweeter than any other kind of peach.
You can can them, but it's not quite the same. Still, I'd rather have canned red havens than buy those wooden peaches from the States any other time of the year. Needless to say, I pig out on peaches once a year.
