does anyone think that american gangstar was average for a gangsta movie. i mean there were hardly any scenes between the denzil and crowe and the action was alright. also the ending was kinda meh. i thought the year's previous departed was better that that. anyone else agree?Crusher89

Gangster movies dont need that much action. The departed was average, it was the worst movie scorsese has done though, goodfellas was much better. The original departed is much better I think, in my opinion anyway. its called internal affairs and to me is superior.
