Evil dead 2...
it is kinda funny, I know it is a more comedic take on the first one, but it creeped me out a heck of alot more, perhaps because it was also amusing...
Honebly mentions: Below (great use of sound, and I hate mirrors^^) Alien (ever since that movie whenever a woman is pregnant I see an alien burst out of her in my thoughts),

Not to mention it had the god himself in it, Bruce Campbell.28 Days was excellent. I hadn't really considered Let The Right One In horror (despite the vampire theme), but that's also a fantastic movie. Saw it a few days ago for the first time.Signs, 28 Days Later, Let The Right One In, The Thing, Psycho

Why do you think it's Korean? I've seen a lot of people say that's Korean and I'm curious as to why. It's actually a Chinese movie or to be more specific, a Hong Kong movie. The Eye (the 2002 korean version)

Nosferatu Even as a silent film from 1922, it creeps the hell out of me. It is a frightening masterpiece, and easily my pick for best horror film ever made._en1gma_
The nonscary parts are really boring though.

A Tale of Two Sisters Honorable mentions: John Carpenter's The Thing, Misery (yes, it's more of a thriller but it has horror elements), Audition, and Night of the Living Dead.KamikazeKyuti
Probably the only movie I can think of that I has actually kept me from getting sleep. Just thinking about it now gives me chills.
