Clerks II for me. Though i love the material in Dogma, i like most religious/apocalyptic stuff so i really liked that one. But Clerks II was the best...

Since the poll lumps Clerks and Clerks II together, I have to say those are the best. I absolutely love the clever, but stuck in a dead-end job vibe.

[spoiler]

Plus, Jay and Silent Bob's conversion in CII is awesome!

The poll only allowed 5, so I clumped Clerks I/II and Vulgar together. It seemed appropriate because Brian 'O Halloran plays a prominent role in all 3.

Although Randall Graves has to be one of my favorite characters ever, I enjoyed Mallrats the most.

Brodie is pretty damn funny in his own right; Randal and Brodie are both cut from the same cloth though. ;)

Yeah, kind of the way Quint is like Dante, the only difference being that Quint actually decides to do something about his problems. Speaking vaguely of Dante, Brian O'Halloran's role on the game show in Mallrats was pretty classic.

"But my cousin Walter jerked off in public once. True story. He was on a plane to New Mexico when all of the sudden the hydraulics went. The plane started spinning around, going out of control, so he decides it's all over and whips it out and starts beating it right there. So all the other passengers take a cue from him and they start whipping it out and beating like mad. So all the passengers are beating off, plummeting to their certain doom, when all of the sudden, *Snap* the hydraulics kick back in. The plane rights itself, and it lands safely and everyone puts their pieces or, whatever, you know, away and deboard. No one mentions the phenomenon to anyone else."

"Well, did he *** or what?"

"Jesus Christ, man there are just some things you don't talk about in public!"

As much as I love all his other movies (sans Jersey Girl), you really can't beat the original Clerks.

Jersey Girl doesn't even fit in the View Askewniverse.:| Smith was trying something new; you gotta give that to him.

Yeah, obviously. Still doesn't change the fact I don't like the movie much.

If you can get past the awful acting, the unfunny jokes, cheap special effects, boring pacing, and Chris Rock, then I agree.
